Disability Rights UK (formerly National Centre for Independent Living) Disability Rights UK is the central UK voluntary support, advice and consultancy organisation formed through a unification of Disability Alliance, Radar and National Centre for Independent Living on 1 January 2012. This new pan-disability organisation aims to:
– promote "meaningful" independent living for disabled people
– promote disabled people's leadership and control
– break the link between disability and property
- campaign for disability equality and human rights.
(CILNI is a member organisation of Disability Rights UK.)
